Fishing in Norway

Here is some photos for our latest fishing trip to Norway. There was small amount of salmon in a river, but somehow we all manage to catch one good fish..

Also as you can see from my photos, I sold my good camera and lenses last winter. So now I´m photographing with crappy old Canon (and using some of my friends photos)..

Good pike fishing

I had few fantastic hours of excellent pike fishing with my brother. Here´s some pics about the biggest one today. As you can guess, it was caught by my brother Aleksi.. Pike was 107cm long and it was in really good shape.

Some photos from our trip to Sweden.

We spent a day fishing at the swedish coast line with Pelle Klippinge. We were looking for seatrout but conditions were quite bad. This spring is the coldest spring since 1952, but we (meaning Pelle) managed to find one spot which was in fishable condition. After a few hours of fishing in freezing weather we decided to go to upper parts of river Em. And I can assure you it was still cold.

Next morning we woke up at river Em mansion. We had two nice fishing days ahead. Johan had a fever and the water temperature was below zero. With the help of pain killers Johan managed to fish two whole days. We had only one fish up during the whole trip.

Even if the conditions were quite challenging and Johan was sick, the trip was really nice. We met fantastic people, landscapes were beautiful and there were some fish in the river. That´s all you need for quality spring fishing.
